Expensive Hobby!

Hi everyone.

My this is getting expensive!

I just got hold of a little Edirol UA-25, which is ace. A few issues like clicking on playback, but I'm sure I'll get them sorted. The bundled Cakewealk software's not half bad either.

I was recording a tune on my guitar and could just hear drums for it in my head, so I went hunting round the net and half an hour later I'm $85 poorer after hearing the exact drum sound and beat I was after on the Drums On Demand home page!

Now I've got my eyes on a decent mic and some monitors...

My wife's gonna kill me!

Try to save $20 on every purchase and get her some nice flowers. And don't spend Saturday night recording your masterpiece while she's waiting for you upstairs ;)

That's my policy at work here too.. If I waited around for everyone to follow procedure to the letter, I'd never get anything done..
