..ever use a different shockmount....

My question is:

Have you ever used a different shockmount than the OEM one that came with a particular mic?

I have an AT4033 and it appears to fit in the shockmount that came with my SP C1.

Any danger in doing this?

If it seats well I dont see a problem....its just designed for anti-shock and stability.
