1) I will not take Blue Bear seriously until he admits he called a sunth module a reverb unit.. it may see like something small to you but at least i looked into my gear purchases before making any statements about them.

2) point being businessmen stay busy

right now im not busy because we're remodeling as for the rest of you guys i hope thats your excuse too

ill be long gone in a week once the renovations get finished

as for your assumptions about what im using

take your time with your slick comments before you miss the point...
I resent all fuckwads who own recording studios and cant seem to get over the fact people dont need them anymore...so they get on them about expertise and yadayadayada...im sorry that Epic cut you down like they did alot of people..why dont you put your fuckin studio on ebay so you can recoup your losses?

Me i opened a label

CEO
or See my cock

3) as for Bears comment about distortion
thats funny considering i didnt clip or distort anything to inputs when i actually recorded this song if it came out that way after i converted it to the mp3 then i cant help it

the only thing on the song that i used distortion on was the bass

I still own a company i still run that bitch and we still get paid to do our thing

Im glad that life is fulfilling

next time i need some cocksucker to slap a BBE and a Aphex on my mix so they can call it PRO

ill remember to call you
until then

Thanks your help

1) Glad you look into your purchases before you make comments about them. Most peeps look into them before they make the purchase. I'm beginning to believe you 'own' nothing and you are nothing but a pack of lies.

2) You are obviously not a businessman and yes, calling yourself a CEO and touching yourself is not an accounting principal.
If you resent all the peeps that own studios, what are you remodeling? (that silly putty you're holding in your hand still?)
All your manifestations of disrespect you have here for the members certainly show you really don't respect yourself. I don't expect you will understand that.

3) Bear was right to start with and you still don't get it. It's the unintended distortion that is the problem, not what you added to the bass.(if you even did that) If you had this mastered before making an mp3 you wouldn't have had that problem. Personnally I'd file your songs under c:\songs\hiphop\rap\SCREECH\*.*.mp3

If you have such disdain for the members here why come back at all? Take some time out for just you! Grow up before you let more crap come out you piehole and remember like this thread, vengeance never ends...

too much to read here, but :

how do you achieve hotter level without any mastering (or premastering)
Just curious.

also, isn't there a difference between whether you use all virtual effects/instruments, whether you do some compression per track while mixing, whether you record live, the type of instruments, level of dynamics, what type of genre you produce, the quality YOU are looking for?
I guess the perfect combination of some of the above could generate a piece where the dynamics were already there, and you couldn't thinnk of anyway to improve it. But seems you'd still have a loudness problem.

and if you don't think it needs to be mastered, what if someone else does? What if one person was the only one in the world to believe that his/her beat didn't need mastering, but everyone else did? Would you change your mind and say, oh
i guess it does need mastering.

like I said I didn't read this thread, so apology if I am just duplicating responses.

everything you asked was in this thread....and this thread brought out the worst in everyone almost....lets not go back through that again....if you want to mess with levels getting it louder after its already been mixed then mix it down to a wav file and use a wave editor and toggle with the volume and cut off points to increase bass or treble

Just curious.

There is more than one way to get you mix hot and it doesn't have to be done in the mastering stage though it is preferred to keep the songs consistent.

Compression/limiting are the tools used to reduce the average to peak ration there by allowing the file to be increased in volume.

This has been discussed in other threads and I'm sure if you search the forum you'll find the info you need.

Good luck.
