Is there anyone using the Event PS8 or the TR8? I'dd like to hear what you think of it. Or am I better off buying the 20/20 (passive) with an external amplifier?

I use the ps8'sThey sound pretty good. I sense a little dip in low mids. The handle the low end good. I like em.

The Events monitors ARE quite good....... BUT - you do have to watch -- they are a bit too forgiving in the mids............

I have a set, and i like them a lot. but this is my first set of real monitors, so i cant really compare them to well. but, I can attest that there is a little dip in the low-mid range.
