I am new at all this but am going at it full speed and need help. I have purchased 2 power mac 2.3 gig computers and loaded them with ram, i am running cubase sx-3 & waves as well as BFD for a drum program & vst virtual instruments se to assist in my endeavor. I have experience with the cubase program on a limited basis, but have never had my own recording space, as I do now. The equipment I have is as follows :
I have a presonus firepod, focusrite trakmaster platinum pre amp, Bellari tube channel RP503 mic pre amp, presonus blue tube stereo tube preamp, & a behringer powerplay PRO-XL HEADPHONE DISTRIBUTION AMPLIFIER, for monitors, I am using a Pair of KRK-V6 powered monitors & a Pair of JBL-4206 non powered monitors, for power I have a Hafler TA1100, 100 watt power amplifier. I also have a Behringer multicom Pro-XL audio interactive dynamics processor model MDX 4600 (expander/gate - compressor/limiter), could someone PLEASE give me some information on how to wire this equipment up for the best results, as I don't have the foggiest idea on where to start. PLEASE HELP ME!!

Plug firepod into firewire port in Mac.
Outputs of preamps should go to line inputs on firepod. (personally I'd probably just use the pres in the firepod anyway).
The multicom output should go to the insert point for whichever channel you want to use it on.
Main outputs on firepod should go to one pair of monitors (or amp).
Cue outputs on firepod should got to other pair of monitors (or amp).
Use one of the other pairs of outs on the firepod for the headphone amp.
