equipment connections/suggestions/sources

Here is some of my equipment:

Tascam 424 mkII
Alesis Sr-16
Nady mm4 4 channel stereo mixer
Audio Technica headphones
Several mics (Shure prolouge, SM-58, Audio Technica, V-Tech)
Ampeg 60 watt head, 4-12" cabinet
Hamer electric guitar
Fender acoustic
Cheap Yamaha keyboard (no midi)
N-Track ( which I had not planned on using)
And,...bunches of pedals
Still need to get a small PA but for now I use my Ampeg.


***What is the best way to connect the tascam -> Mixer->Alesis

I've been plugging directly in on the tascam for mics and drums. Should I be putting the mixer in front of the tascam?

I'm recording but for now I've been running out the headphone jack of the tascam either to headphones or my ampeg.

Any suggestions or sites with connection schematics?

Thanks but I need specific connection information. For example: If I put the Nady before the Tascam how does it interface between the two, how to send audio to speakers and/or headphones?

Can someone give me specifics where I can connect everything without plugging in and out so many cables. Monitors/headphones/drum machine/out to computer for recording/ adding effects/etc.

What benefit to add the mixer before the recorder?
