Equalization Help

where would i plug an external equalizer to a mixer. (behringer eurorack UB2442) Should i be doing it to seperate channels or equalizing the whole track.
 
Well I guess it depends on what you are doing. You can put it on the channel insert. I have mine on the main direct inserts.

Is there some reason you think you need to? You're probably better off just using the channel EQ's rather than strapping one across the mix buss.
