eq plugins with Cubase

Just wondering what would be the best way to use an EQ plugin with Cubase, as an insert or send? I have a UAD-1 card and would rather use the EQ's that come with that instead of the Cubase EQ's.. What does everyone else here use. The cubase eq's or plugins? Is the EQ'ing that built into Cubase good enough to use?
 
Try using the Eq's as an insert. A send would be better for reverbs and other fx.
