I saw a thread where someone recommended purchasing a parametric EQ. how is htis used for recording to the computer. Can you only EQ one of your out puts on your interface. So if I was gonna buy the Firepod interface to record to my computer, where does the EQ. Is it different if you are recording multiple instruments at the same time?

If you're gonna be recording on the computer, go ahead and check out some parametric eq plugins.

There's even free stuff to be had off the likes of www.kvr-vst.com if your recording software supports vst effects. IF not, there's still probably some good free or cheap stuff.

Definetly go with plug-ins. If you want a decent outboard parametric eq, be prepared to spend about $500 for a single channel. Then there's the issue of interfacing it with your firepod and the damage caused by extra DA/AD conversions.
