i know this isnt a song to listen to and im sorry about posting this.im just wondering when you guys record like lets say a guitar track do you add effects first or do you eq it dry then add effects or does this realy not matter because the end result will be the same either way.ive been using the graphic eq in pro audio 9 for all my eq needs is the parametric eq any better, to be honest i dont even know how to use it properley. i have sonar 1.01 but it always crashes my system bad so im using 9 pro with all the sonar goodies added in. and it runs much more stable for me on my comp. i am running windows 98 2nd edition. and one more thing i tryed using the eq in realtime so i can hear the changes as i make them but it just makes the song break up badly im patching it in through the console view, so now i have to apply eq and then un apply it if it aint wright then reapply it again and this is a pain in the rump to get it tweaked in, its like a big guessing game lol. anyway thanks ahead of time for any responses good or bad, tim pate
