EQ-73...anyone tried one

Well, has anyone used the GAP EQ-73. Looks pretty cool, and for $299 if it's got some character it might be worth picking up.

I was mostly wondering if it's a more transparent or a more colored EQ.

Transparent is pretty easy to do in the DAW, but the colored EQ is elusive

From the description it sounds pretty colored, but I'm not really up on EQs.

I would hope that it's colored.

Three bands. Can't change the Q. It would have to have "something" for me to buy it.

I see that it only has an insert connection on the back just to be used with the Pre 73. You could get around this by using a "Y" cable though.
