The head only is awesome, for what it does and for $99 bucks, it rocks.....you cant go wrong! Plug it into a nice cab and you will wonder where the last 4 hours went! It has 3 jacks, for 4, 8, or 16 ohm output.

The combo version sucks, but only because the speaker they put in it cant handle the sound. Either plan on replacing the speaker.......or just get the head only! For $150 bucks I would not go near that combo without getting rid of that speaker. And the combo is stuck with only a 4 ohm speaker jack....

A Morley volume pedal doesn't use a pot, it uses a photoresistor, but yeah, I'll wager that using it (some would say abusing it) that way eventually will take it out. The electronics in a volume pedal are designed to handle very small currents and voltages

Well, I was never that fond of this pedal anyway.
