Epiphone Dot

ive got one


its VERY nice, out off all guitars that price its the only quality hollow bodied electric. get it!
 
I think the Dot is the best all round guitar that Epiphone makes.

The thing is that right now Gibson is having Epis made at 3 different factories (not talking about Elites), 2 in Korean factories and 1 China factory. The China guitars are getting better hardware and pickups in them. They are coming with Grover tuners and pickups that are asian built copies of the Gibson '57 Classics. So look to find one with the Grover tuners and its a better stock guitar than some of the others floating around out there.

this is almost of the subjuect but does anyone know why they call it a "Dot"? I've always wondered that.
 
The dot inlays on the neck opposed to the trapezoid inlays on most Gibsons.

When ordering one online its a crapshoot! Good luck! :D

I'm seeing more and more of the grover equipped Chinese models here in the US, so maybe you have a good shot at it. I suppose you could call them and ask.
