Energetic Pop/Rock with Synth

Here's a couple songs I finished tracking recently for some friends. We still need to do backup vocals/harmonies and quite a bit of post-production, but I'm curious to see what you all think.

Something sounds "wrong" about the vocals. I don't have very good ears, but they sound off... like they are a touch flat or something.

I would get a second opinion on this as I in no way have "golden ears".
