Emu 1616?

I am considering purchasing the EMU 1616 Laptop Audio Interface. If anyone is using one, could you please give me the pros and cons?

It comes with a bunch of software as well. Can anyone tell if it's the full version of these programs or abbreviated versions? Thanks.

I've been using the 1616M since last July (got one of the first ones they shipped) and I'll recommend it highly. See the review in the October 2005 issue of 'Sound-on-Sound' magazine for a comprehensive review of its capabilities.

my 1820m came with a bunch of software. but they arele virsionsmy 1820m came with a bunch of software. but they are le versions. How ever they can be upgraded to the full version and you pay the upgrade price and not the full price. Good way to try out software and upgrade it at adiscount
