Elevator music...or good beat? Thoughts?

The only thing that rings of "elevator" is the lead instrument, try a nice Larry Carlton sounding guitar.
I like the drums.
 
Yeah I mean the track is just kinda there.

It's not bad but also not good.
 
The guitar part instead of the piano or layered with it?
