Editing Vocals?

I dont know much about recording or editing but I was wondering if someone knew or can tell me how to make my vocals sound better.
Im not asking to make my singing sound better, but want to make them sound crisp and better.

My mic isnt the best but its good enough i think, its a CAD GXL2200 Condenser Microphone.

Can someone help me?

Are you using a preamp? If not then I would definetly suggest it. There are tons of options out there for different budgets. If you are, you may have to define the term "better." Better around here means different things. Do you have noise in your recordings? Are you talking about your vocals seeming to flat? Not sitting well in the mix? Answer these and you will probably get some good feedback. good luck.

I was wondering the same exact thing.
