Hi
I'm in the process of switching to mac and want a new DAW as I am fed up with Cubase. I thought about PT8 but I don't want to "downgrade" my interface from my RME FF400 to a 002, 003 or Mbox pro which have poor converters and are less portable. So Logic is the, eh, logical choice. However, I keep reading that Apple haven't updated Logic's audio editing features in years and that they are not up to par with PT8, regardless of "elastic audio". Meticulous audio editing is extremely important to me.
What will PT8 give me that Logic won't? I never seem to get an answer to this question.
