I need to edit some audio tracks I've recorded. Basically there are some beat matching issues I would like to correct without having to re-record. I have some bass and piano takes that I need to line up with the beat on a few of the measures, not the whole take. Timing otherwise is fine. I've seen this in videos on the full version of Cubase 4 but some of those features don't seem to exist in my version. Is this something I can do in LE 4. I'm thinking I want to do hit points. I've read this section in the manual but still can't seem to get it to do what I want as mentioned above. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if LE4 does hit points, I'm using Cubase 4... but if it's just a few measures why don't you just enlarge the track in the main arrange window and (with snap off) use the scissors tool to cut up the bad parts and then move them right and left to get things to line up?

That's what I do, I've used hitpoints but generally I'd rather just fix it by hand.

Ok, it looks like this is the most common way of fixing minor issues.
Thanks.
