I've been looking at Echo's Darla and Gina soundcards, which are equally priced in the Musicians Friend catalog, and I've got a few questions about both. First off, they both have analog I/O's. Does this mean I couldn't connect a digital mixer to it? Secondly, the Gina can record four channels at once, while the Darla can only record 2 simultaneously. Does this have something to with the fact that Darla records at 24-bits and the Gina 20-bits? And how is it possible for the Gina to record 4 channels at once with only 2 inputs?

Nothing to do with bit rate.
You get 4 in to the GINA with two analog and a pair running in through the S/PDIF.
