do any of ya'll use ear monitors in the studio, or do you use conventional floor monitors. And can you use those wireless headphones just as well as ear monitors?

In the studio, I use headphones. Floor monitors are occasionally useful for signers who just can not handle headphones, but I have only used them in the studio once in my life. In ears are a completely different animal, and I would not want to use them in a studio (they take a lot of care to use them safely, as they can cause severe ear damage).

I've had a drummer bring his own in-ears, naturally they worked fine. The issue is that people don't usually share in-ears you use your own or at least your own molds for hygenic reasons.
