Do any of you use the ADAT connection of your E-MU 1212m? Are you also recording at 192kHz and do you hear much difference between that and 44.1kHz? I realize that it depends on the converter you are using and monitors, etc.

I have used my 1212m with an older Alesis ADAT deck, basically using the Alesis as a A/D converter to get 10 inputs into the 1212m.

Haven't tried 192Khz recording yet...

I've tried that combination at 96kHz and 48kHz, and I cannot tell the difference. However, I probably don't have golden ears.

I went out and bought an ADAT optical cable and plugged that from the UA2192 to the 1212m, ran two channels at 192kHz, and wow! INCREDIBLE! Man, the wav file after I exported the recording was a whopping 150 megabytes. I am floored I tell ya, floored!
