Allright guys I need some help with this plugin..

I am using Pro Tools LE

Now I am creating a new "instrument track" in stereo... Adding the DZ Drummer as a plugin... Now I can drag and drop beats to the timeline... Neat... :) ...

But I want to be able to create my own beats... So I use the editors pen tool to create drum hits on the timeline... It works... But I find that it dosent sound anything like if I hit the exact same hit on the drums in EZ Drummer... It is not at the same volume at all... Its much lower... And it really just sounds dull compared to the drums on the drumkit in EZ Drummer... (If I just drag the beats out they sound exactly like they do in the EZ Drummer window) What am I doing wrong?

Is there a velocity control or something like that? I haven't worked with electronic drums since the days of MIDI. But, when I used to program drums, there was a 0-127 velocity control for each note or hit. Maybe when you program your own beats, it defaults to a lower velocity, and you have to adjust it.

Just a shot in the dark. I know nothing about EZ, DZ, or SLEAZY DRUMS.

There is a velocity sweep knob in the EZ Drummer program... But I only think it is affecting the pre made beats... I really cant find anything in Pro tools :(
