Sounds pretty good man...I really like when that guitar comes in. That sounds cool. Nice and clean flute sound. I like it...has some great sounds in it.
 
Hey BigBubba - this new tune sounds great....
- the flute patch is pretty nice what are you using there?
- the bass riff is sweeeet
- the song really rocks when that guitar comes in
- guitars rhythm/lead have nice tones
- drums are really well done, very dynamic

Dogman, thanks for your comments. I appreciate them. Been trying to get some contemporary pop rock sound out of the guitars. :)

Ido, thanks for listening and commenting. :) I appreciate it. The flute is some soundfont and used in FLStudio Sound Font Player. The bass is also FLStudio and so are the keys and drums.

The drums will probably be programmed a bit more. The song will have another verse and some outro or something. Trying to see if my non-fast solo sits well here or not.

Was listening to Kelly Clarkson when I liked the git sound so decided to try to get something similar.

The song as usual is Psalm 9 turned into a song by someone. :)

Hey Bubba, welcome back! :cool: I haven't been around as much as usual lately either :o I'm down to like a 1 tune per month rate...

anyway... typing as listening... flute sounds real good for not being real, maybe even double it or echo it more to give more of a full fluty feel. Hehe, kind of reminds me of the super nintendo rpg's I played as a kid- this definitely sounds better though... some nice sounds at :49... I like the drama when the power chords enter, sounds cool... just preference on sound, I'd try maybe adding some more bite to them by raising higher range, dropping midrange, then raising volume a bit without getting in way of the flute... I like the 1:23 flute solo, nice... bass in this tune is great... sweet ending with the electric, that sounds like your tone man, reminds me of some of your other songs... nice :D

rayc - Thanks for listening and commenting. A real flute would probably be a lot harder to record, as well. :p. Not to mention I'd have to learn to pay it. :)
SnakeDog5050 - Hey S-Dawg man, thank for listening and commenting. The flutes were so doubles and chorus'd that they would sounding really muddy so I removed a lot of FX. Anyhoo, might put some chorus back. And the guitars were really shrill, ended up cutting a lot of high end. :) May put some back but if it sounds like hurting people's ears when I turn it up then essentially either my EQ plug-in needs to be better or I need to learn it better. :)

Thanks all for listening and commenting. Any comments on drums? Also, this is not complete yet. Might add one more verse and then slowly just fade out playing chorus.
