Quick question for the forum. When I try to use my Direct X plugins with Cubase 2.0 all the presets say are Int 1 Int 2 and so on. Is this a bug or is there a way to get my presets back ?

Thanks

Most DirectX programs contain their own Preset list/manager within the plugin GUI (Whereas VST's file management is usually placed within the host's wrapper/interface allowing direct access). This is not neccasarily a Cubase specific problem. If you can't access the files at all in cubase (via cubase's own interface or the plugins GUI), you may be forced to open the plugin else where and copy the settings (via Pen and Paper.........The old fashioned way).

What format were your original presets stored in???
If they were stored in a proprietary format (via an old host), that me part of the problem too.

Let us know what plugins you are having a problem with and/or what programs you created your presets in.

I actually thought of that... I opened the plugin in another host and made note of the settings that I liked and set it up in Cubase. The problem is that Cubase wouldn't hold it. Everytime I save it and re-open it its all scrambled again. I even tried to save it as a pre-set but when I opened it again same thing.

I specificly am talking about Pantheon Lexicon reverb 1.0. I love its sound but unfortunatly Cubase doesn't seem to like it. Even if I save the song with the reverb set just the way I want it when I open it again its all scrambled. I guess it may be a problem with the plug in as Cubase seems to work fine with the VST's.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Thanks for answering.

Here's a thought, get UltraFunk Sonitus Bundle. Much better reverb :). Don't know what else to tell you right now, but if I think of something I'll post back.
