Hi folks! I wrote a song about video games! Esoteric, nigh-unplayable video games!

It's called Dwarf Fortress, and I would certainly not be averse to any feedback you guys could give me on the mix.

Wow, I think this might be the first acoustic guitar I've heard on your stuff VHS. It starts off like a sci fi western theme - like it should be on the soundtrack to Westworld or something.

The guitar panning works well and everything sounds balanced in the mix. Good stuff

Yeah, I've done stuff with acoustic before, but not very often. For my last few projects, it's been an average of one song with acoustic and/or ukulele
 
Much better drumz!
I'm able to follow the lyric without reading - you're slowing down mate.
I like the burbling electronic - nice counterpoint to the totally fuzzed out guitars.
Acoustic also provides a nice balance.
Obsession with vid games is something I'm too old to fully comprehend - I have 2 PC games - neither of which I've played for more than an hour.
Ilike the humourous narrative too.

The game's based on the old Roguelikes (Hack, Rogue, etc.), so if you're into really old games, it should be relateable. :D
It's essentially a Moria simulator.
 
Sounds pretty cool. I'd say make the entire drum kit louder in the mix. EZ Drummer? Maybe make the kit less roomy too. Vocals sound good. They can come up some too. Good song man.

Yeah, it's half EZ drummer, half my randomized drums. (I should have a mix of something with REAL drums (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) up later this week.)

Alright. I'll try bumping the vox and drums a bit. (Actually... it's probably easier to take everything else down a bit. It's just short of clipping as is.)

Lol. Yes that's what I meant. Just make the drums and vocals louder, however you need to do it. :D

Hey I dug that, sounds like your done with it and I have no nits, just enjoyed, like the fuzzy guitars, and the Atari tone synths, a great combo!
