Dumb Question on recording setup

I just purchased a FocusRite Scarlett 18i20 and a 7 piece mic set. I am trying to run this through ACID 7.0 and cannot figure out how to get the mics to record on separate tracks rather than one track all mixed together. I know this is something that should be easy to figure out but I for some reason cannot get it. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Have you selected the right audio driver? It's probably somewhere like Options -> Audio Preferences -> Audio Device.

Welcome to Bedlam.

I have downloaded the trial od Acid 7 and I cannot quickly find a way to setup 4 discrete tracks for my NI KA6...I am sure it is possible but not immediately obvious!

Audacity does not recognise the KA as a 4 track (6 actually) device so I fall back on my default -1, Samplitude Silver Cloud.

Even here it took me some time to sort the tracks to 4 monos and all record armed (saved it as a template for a rainy!).

If there is no Acid wizard here your next step is a Sony forum I guess?

Yes! I did try Reaper and got stuck! I would REALLY like to use Reaper for multitrack so any help would be great.
