Okay. I have Pod 2.0 and love it. Is it worth selling it and getting the Pod UX2 with Pod Farm? I am getting mixed signals, feelings, etc. This will be used exclusively in a studio. I need answers, please help!

If you love the pod then it seems pretty stupid to sell it.

Pod Farm is just Gearbox with a pretty interface.:)
Get the UX2 if you want to be able to mic your amp,if not stick with the Pod.:)

Even if UX2 is better outfitted for the type work I will be doing?

And even if the UX2 is a better piece of equipment than the 2.0?

I am asking because budgets are tight right now- even though the UX2 is exteremly affordable.... I still have to put my $$$ in the treatment of my studio.

The line6 amp simulation and effect software is not any better than what you can download for free all over the internet. The UX2 is just a gimmick that line6 uses to target gullible people. Don't buy into their snake oil sales pitch. There is no such thing as an all-in-one magic box for recording. That's my 2 cents take it or leave it.

It seems you are a little bitter towards line 6 ocnor. Actually, I have read some reviews on the UX2, and it seems the things are made rather cheap, and have a tendency to wear out. It is unfortunate though, so I think I will keep my 2.0 a little longer. I thought the price of the UX2 was tempting though...

Rubbish, sorry to just blurt that out but I'm not gullible and line6 has given us affordable decent desktop recording, nothing free available on the net comes close.
