I'm shopping for a dual pre/comp for vox and needs to be under $500.00 the closer to $400.00 the better.

This maybe a little more than $500 but it is a great unit exactly what you need. The Focusrite Twin Track Pro. It has 2 channels both with class A pre, EQ scoop, compressor, and variable impedence. I love this unit for the price. CHECK IT OUT!

Howbout the Focusrite VoiceMaster?? I been looking into this unit as my main vocal recording unit... any suggestions?

I just bought a second Tampa now I have two Tampas. I really liked my first one so I thought I not add a second.

My next pre amp purchase will be a Toft ACT-2 or the Joemeek TwinQ I would like to know the sonic differance between the two.
