hell no

got home at 12:00 noon from work, and my 788 was sitting on the porch. unpacked the bitch, got the tutorial book out, hooked it up to my monitors, plugged in a couple mics, laid down an acoustic track and sang a song, overdubbed some mando, put in some bass, tweaked a little reverb on the acoustic and the vocals, panned a little, saved the song, and then played it back. shit man! I ain't scared. I love it. yeah baby, dtb is going digital.

happy, happy, me,

it's now like 3:30 pm

Ok, you've had you're fun, now RTFM!

Anyway, welcome to the 788 club, had mine now for a year and a half and I've accomplished 10 times as much as I ever did with Logic Audio and Cakewalk.

big ups to dtb, and his bad-ass digital self!! Congrats!! I hope you have half the fun that i have with mine. Its a remarkable little machine. .....spend a couple of hours with the editing once you get some "keeper" tracks down. When i first got mine, i was just blown away at the amount of flexibility I had in the digital domain. .....just gotdamnfun is what it is.... Im looking forward to hearing your stuff in the clinic. Mike:D :D :D

Congrats, dtb. There's nothing like the first few weeks with a piece of new gear!

In the week since I've had mine, I haven't had a lot of time to play with it with my family visiting from out of town that past week.

Don't ask which I would rather have...sometimes it's a toss up! :)
