DSP Card question

Hello, I was wondering if there were any DSP cards out there which just help take some load off the CPU when processing general plugins, not just the ones which they sell with them..

I am not looking for cards like Universal Audio cards or anything like that, ones which just help process general plugins from all makes like Waves..

I also am looking for one to work in conjunction with my MOTU audio interface. So I have the sound going through MOTU and the card helping relieve some of the stress on the CPU and other processors working with the plugins...

they're pretty specific to the platform... possible exception being the TC powercore series i think and then not many... if you've got a second compiuter you could use it as an effects or VI machine.... there's also the receptors... google VEPro if ya want to run a slave machine...
