hey Tom, I'm trying some stuff out, but it's getting very complicated very fast.. It all involves me just recording the MIDI of the drum pads and then getting into all this crazyness with the computer.. I am not fit to operate a calculator, let alone a crazy set up, but I'll be experimenting..

Don't know how much of that is joking, but I'll just assume you meant it all.

Do what I did. Go like a week without smoking any weed...

now hear me out....

...chill.......Sam sit back down....

and read some technical stuff. Computer recording itself overwhelmed the living shit outa me, and I started little more than a year ago. And my only recording experience before that was the occasional session on my friend's Tascam Porta-8 or whatever...it was a cassette recorder!
Point is, some of it's like learning a second language, but it's really not that big of a language. For the most part I use Sonar for everything, and it's really like a real board, etc. It's all laid out the same, wait you know that already. So read a little, check out some other forums, ask questions. You know you can ask me anything too, and I'll tell you whatever I've learned so far.

Sorry about the long winded post, but I've heard your cries for computer help before....

:D

Oh ya, this song sounds even better to me now that I haven't been mixing for a day or so! The new drum sounds should definitely be a great tool for your endless ideas.
