I have a behringer autocom pro...i wanna compress the whole kit...this isnt possible is it? id need more than 2 channels on the compressor? I was told not to run the compressor tgrough the effecs loop...help me out!! haha i know i sound dumb but i gotta start somewhere

Use the channel inserts on your mixer to hook up the compressor. Only use the aux send for reverbs or a monitor feed. I wouldn't compress the whole kit ... just the kick and snare a little maybe.

It's NEVER wise to compress *any* track(s) unless it actually NEEDS compression.... I can't imagine why you'd ever need compression on overheads...
