There isn't a whole lot of importance from the buyers perspective at being good at what they do anymore. Turn on MTV for more insight. :(

Mix that with the "OnDemand + I want it now" attitude and kids don't have time to mess around with such trivial and tedious chores such as practicing. :mad:

I remember on the American Music Awards a few years ago, when the 'kids' did a remake of Lady Marmalade. I remember seeing Pink, Christina, and the other two dancing around on stage, doing a fine job of singing the tune. Half way through the song, Patti LaBelle walks out and just crushes them with the first note that came out of her mouth. The 'kids' should have been embarassed. Until you see something like that, you don't notice the difference between real talent and skill and what we seem to get now.
