ive been using reason drum kit 2 for the about a year now

the sounds are pretty decent but its the set up that im not happy with

what i mean is that i pick a set of cymbals (or hats or toms) but you cant turn the volume up or down or add fx's to each indivudal cymbal you just work on the whole set which is a pain if you pick a nice set and the ride is a little too low and to turn up the volume of the set then the crash is too high

is there any prog similar to reason drum kit 2 but thats more flexible/workable to arrange a kit and sounds as good or even better

to suit stlyes rock/blues/jazz

I don't know about it's similarity to reason but a lot of people around here as well as myself use EZ Drummer by Toontrack. Best sounding I've ever heard and very easy to use. Also very reasonably priced.

I have Groove Agent 1 and was going to upgrade to Groove Agent 3 but they kept slipping the release date.

Long story short, I bought EZ drummer tonight from AudioMidi.com for $149. They are also running a special during May in which you can get an expansion pack for free - well, sort of free - ~$15 s/h.
