1) This thread is the most excitement we have had around here in weeks
2) I listened to Offcenter's song and I liked it - sounds like Sublime -
3) I don't think anyone did anything to warrant Offcenter going obsessive apeshit
4) Greg says things that are antagonistic, so do a lot of people on the internet, I even do it an I am the piller of ambassadorship
Offcenter - I am going to give you some advice - before you read it, please keep this in mind. I am seriously just giving you real good advice that will probably lower your blood pressure and make you a happier person. Take a deep breath before you read it - it's not an attack on you.
Ok - here it is
On any forum you will have people that just do not mix well. There are trolls and there are people who are abrasive, there are people who just plain do not agree with you, etc.
I saw you start a lot of your posts that directly addresses these posts that you felt were not helping you and were just unnecessary or whatever - if you go back and read this thread, you will see that the majority of your posts are responses to these types of posts.
So here's the advice - if you read some posts you do not like - ignore it. You do not have to respond. It only makes it worse. Stay on subject. There is absolutely nothing good that can come from internet arguments (except for the mild entertainment which is how I would describe this thread).
I have posted all kinds of crap here and a lot of times people say something or other, I might not like what they said, but usually there is something in the posts also that might lead to something useful on topic. If I do respond, I focus on that and ignore the part where they told me I play guitar like a little girl or whatever it was

the amount of time you spend arguing and firing back comments that are not even on topic is just way overboard. Maybe count to ten before you hit the quote button or something. The amount of reactionary heated replies you make borders on trolling - you spent waaaaay more time in this thread arguing then you did discussing music. And before you say that it was all the other people who were posting non-related posts - go back and read the advice. Ignore it - it is irrelevant.
