I guess I would say Im on Offcenteres side in this argument...i wont get involved because arguing on the internet is nonsense however I do back up his point of view.

I just wanted to post to say he's not alone however I dont want to get into bashing or throwing insults...its pointless.

Agree to disagree and move on is what i say.

Do you not think the OP should at least try Greg's advice and see if it works for him? If it worked, he wouldn't have to admit he was wrong. Nobody would even know what he did to fix his drum track unless he told us.

That's what's funny...you would be hard-pressed to define any specific argument.
It's not like the OP is saying something about anything specifc...and we are all arguing against his point.

There is no point...no argument about anything.

About the only drum related thing was the "there's more than EQ and compression on those drums" stuff, but that fell off the map about 5 pages back. He's just been flailing wildly for the last few pages.

Well...let's see if he posts any music (or gear to sell).

Why would i sell my gear? What i have i keep. I wouldnt want to sell my 52 tele. I dont think youd have the cash to buy that anyway old timer.

I'm not sticking up for miro, but the guy has A LOT of guitars and gear. I imagine he could probably buy your tele if he wanted it.

Alright then. I have to go and do a gig ..... when I get back I want you all to have kissed and made up.

What the fuck do you not understand about me already knowing that shit. That is for the recording forum not mixing . Nobody mics and leaves as is. That is garage band shit. Jesus! Not to mention that you can get so may different results from using any different variety of plugins or out board gear to get things sounding so different. I didnt say anyone was wrong either. What ever works for your sound works. That is like saying when you record vocals you just track and thats it. Even death metal uses so many effects post production for the sound. Metallica cant even do a record with out using pitch correction . And they have even tracked then pitched the whole song pitch up a half step. You guys took this somewhere that it shouldn't have went and greg started it cause hes so fucking sensitive. Get over yourself guy, your not that good at what you do. And that is a harsh statement considering the style you play.

Then ask him what a 52 tele original is worth without a ding on it.

Do never address me again unless spoken to, punk. I've tried my best to diffuse the situation, now you're own your own. Fuck you.

Dude, why do you immediately resort to attacking people's music or how they play it? It's like your default response. "You and your music sucks!". Lol. WTF kind of retort is that? Just chill out man. No one is being sensitive but you. It's funny and entertaining and everything, but still, it's really a silly defense mechanism. I didn't start anything, but if it makes you feel better about yourself, fine. I started all of this by trying to help you out and answering your question. Can you get over it now? Let's talk about drums. What kind of kit do you play?

I'm not asking him anything. I don't care about your alleged tele or what it's worth. I was just saying that miro is relatively old and has amassed a pretty impressive pile of stuff over the years. He obviously had or has money. He's got a whole wall full of rare Gibsons.

That shit is funny. You are keeping it going too. So fuck you, punk.
