FX: Hey, great song, but the vocals need a little work.

FX: Yeah, Thanks. I hear ya on the vocals. Next time the boys come out from Texas, we plan on re-doing the vocals on a few songs. This was such a rushed project that there just wasn't enough time to get it all right the first time.

FX: OK...well.....Cheers

FX: Cheers back at ya.

I know no shame
BHAHahahahahaha

Great song, FX -- different style than I expected based on the Harley pix!

Thanks bizzwriter,
Style? Harley pix? I don't understand. I like all kinds of styles but these boys I'm working with now got something different IMHO.
Hope to have more posted soon. Let me know what you think.

Equipment?

Not a bad song. What mics and other stuff did you use for this?

Late 90's USA strat Boss ME30 DI & AT813 miked Champion amp guitarsX2
Extremely customized Yamaha bass record outputs of Fender KXR amp into Fostex
Couple of Shures for Vox
Yamaha DD55
Simple and effective.
There ya have it.

Hey, FX -- When I went to the page with your song, I saw the photos of the Harleys and instantly started thinking ZZ Top. I was very pleasantly surprised to hear a totally different kind of song. Excellent!

Cool tune dude! Mix seemed pretty good and I'll take a closer listen later.

Rock on!

FX,

Screamin'!
Well put together!
The bass rumbled my gut between at 2:36 & 2:46........YA!
Two suggestions:
1) The vocals could be wetter all around for my taste.
2) The drums at 2:15 -2:27 need to be looked at. The fill rushes especially the 1st group of 16th notes. ( /---/---/////--- ) is the fill intended to be played but it gets sloppy especially at 2:22 when it sounds more like ( /---/---//-//--- ) The same drum part is used between 1:09 -1:21 and it's executed well enough to consider cutting and pasting it over to 2:15.

Great tune and I love the mix, pan and balance!

Peace,
flat-9
