I'm thinking of buying a hardware compressor, and I see a Drawmer 241 on ebay. I've read positive reviews about it, but do any of you have any experience with Dawmer compression?
I've used their 441 a few times and was realy impressed.. easily the best auto I've used.. the guy who had it told me he'd had it for almost 10 years and had never had to service it.. he does 2-3 gigs most weekends with it and hires it out alot of week days.. so it must be indestructable
I've had my Drawmer DL-241 since 94 and it's my "go to" for outboard compression. The pots are real smooth so it's not hard to nudge a bit without gouing too dar. Works great.
