I am trying to import 16 bit, 44.1, .wav file into my DP32. I get a "cannot import" message. I know my files are the correct format, I don't know what else to try.
I just got a DP 32SD. Loving it so far but I have a question. My wife and I sing to pre-recorded tracks. I would like to import the tracks without having to "play" them from my computer and record them live. Is there a way to simply import the files onto tracks in the DP 32 without going through...
^^^^ That's my reply to that old thread at the Tascam Forum.
I'm *very* experienced with the Tascam DP-32(SD). If you are 100% certain that your track files that you want to import are 44.1khz and 16 bit - and that the song you've created is the same (44.1/16) - then you should have no problem moving those individual track files into the Audio Depot folder and then subsequently importing each file to *empty* tracks of your choosing.
I just noticed reading through that old thread that I mistakenly suggested that the files to be imported had to be 44.1/16. As others subsequently pointed out that's not true. The files simply have to match the format of the song that was created.
