DP24 finalize cd

Working with dp24. After many glitches and updating firmware, have reached the point where we have 11 songs ready to go. WE have recorded to cd (4x-10x speed), have finalized yet the cd will not play on external unit. Have tried to re-finalize but machine tells us disc has already ben finalized. Any suggestions?!!
 
First.......have you brought the CD you finalized into your PC file explorer (or the like) and looked to be sure you actually have tracks on it? What does the unit you're trying to play the CD on say when you insert the CD? As you probably know.......not all CD players will play CDRW discs. Are you using a CDRW disc? I've never had any trouble playing CDR's or CDRW's I've created on my DP24. If all else fails you can always import the master wav. file for each song to your PC and create a CD from those after conversion. Hope you get it figured out.
 
Thanks for replying Mickster. Yes, the songs recorded. They play internally. I forgot to mention that we tried recording to disc on disc at once. Wouldn't complete. Then we tried track at once and recorded all 11 songs one at a time. That worked but still play on external unit. Yes they are CDRW discs. Never thought about that.
 
Meant to say still won't play on external unit. Player just ejects the disc.
