Ok......I've looked through the manual and could never find the answer to this DP-24 question. I'm sure I'm just missing it. Is there a way to have all of the mixer settings from the previous song go back to default settings when creating a new project / song? I've just been going into each track individually and resetting each possible parameter. It's a pain and many times I forget to reset my effects and dynamics settings as well. I assume there's some sort of factory reset but I don't want to change other changes I've made in preferences.

Also......I've asked this previously but have not gotten an answer so I'll try again. Has anyone else had an issue when trying to update the system software using Windows 7 64 bit? It updates fine using XP (which will soon no longer be supported by Microsoft) but when I try to use windows 7 it does not find the file.

Any ideas? Thanks...........

If you have a midi sequencer you could set up all the controllers to zero everything and save as a song with just the controller settings at the beginning then all you need is to select the song and briefly press play.

In Preferences, at the bottom Initialize. Resets all parameters to the defaults.

Thanks.........much appreciated.........but that preference resets ALL of the factory defaults right? I only want to reset all the mixer settings.

OP, after going through the manual, I think 18, it shows what are the call outs for a controller. You could have a MIDI file to act as a controller and get your settings that way. Looks to me that is probably your best approach to look for someone who has done that. Probably in the TASCAM sites user forums.
