Hi
I recently purchased the DP - 02 and so far think it's great. That said though after a couple of hours recording I hit play and got a "not stopped" error message and could do nothing else. I called Tascam and they said they know about this but do not know of any correlation to a particular action that triggers it and do not consider it a design flaw. The only resolution was to reboot which did clear it up but I lost all my work and had to redo it all. Tascam recommended that after a successful take I "save" the song so as to be sure the data is stored in case it happens again. This really shook my confidence it a unit that I began to really like. Can anyone chime in w/ a similar experience or knowledge of this ?
Thanks

I've had my DP02 for almost a year now and have had the 'not stopped' message pop up on me five or six times. It is a major pain in the ass. It should just say 'locked up'. I learned my lesson and started saving every time I felt I did a good take. That's really the best thing you can do to avoid losing what you've just recorded.
