It's only really noticeable on the screaming towards the end, you may just wanna lower it on that part.

Thanks man. I did automate the reverb and delay sends towards the end part.

Final Mix

This is ma second and final attempt. I wouldn't mind a bit of feedback on this one from as many people as possible to see how it's transfering to other systems. Maybe you could tell me what you listened to it through. Thanks.

LEMONTREE FINAL MIX

I'll have all my reviews up sometime over the weekend of everyones latest mix then I'll be gone till Jan 10th unless I can get on a computer while I'm away.

Thanks again to NL5 for giving us the experience, it's been a blast.

Lemon Tree, I'm just listening on cans at the moment. You guys make it real hard to say anything critical. If anything I'd say it's a little short on dynamics(compressed) and a little muddy/boomy on the low end but still sounds real fine :)

Great Mix!

Great Mix!

For my tastes, the vocals could stand to come up a little.

LEMONTREE FINAL MIX

Just got my stereo system back together. It's an old quad amp with 4 JBL Stadium speaker columns. Each column has a 3 way crossover, so you hear it all. It's set up in a 40' X 50' room with cathedral ceilings and plenty of furniture and has a great sound.

Your mix still comes through with too much bass. I even tried it out with just 2 speakers but it still came through muddy and too strong on the bottom.

I'm hoping you throw up another mix though!

2nd attempt... Let me know what you think! :D

BTW, I need some kind of controller, mixing with the mouse sucks!

Listened to both the mixes. The first one was had a boomy bass but I really liked the drums. The second one had a tighter bass but it sounds like you lost some of the top end which changed the sound of the snare (not so good), the cymbals were shaved off and the guitar was buried in a few spots. Somewhere in between would sound great.

Heres my 2nd mix maybe even my final mix.

Please return the favour and critique my mix.

Cheers,

Real good sound on the strings, vocals and drums. The only thing I noticed was the kick was real upfront but the crash was set way back and it sounded kinda detached. Maybe the drummer had a real long leg :) j/k.
I heard you push the volume in one spot but other than that it was a great mix.

It's nice to have a system to listen on finally but I'm thinking I'm gonna become the most disliked person around :D:D:p

Nevermind, last final mix is my final mix :P

Thank you for your critique.
Much appreciated.
Do you mean I pushed the dynamics a bit too much at a certain point?
If so where abouts did you notice it?

Thanks,
Eck
