...for a recording booth that i am building into a closet? Three walls are brick (i'm in a basement) the "room" is about 6' x 6' x 7' . There is currently no fourth wall. I will be recording vocals and acoustic guitar mostly, but would like to be able to throw a cranked guitar amp in there on occasion and not bother the neighbors.
Treating the brick walls should be easy I can experiment a little. I am thinking of making various panels that are interchangeable to tweak the room as i want it when i want it.
As for the fourth wall, part of it will be a door the other will have a window. I have a rough plan, and I've looked over the information manytimes on john sayers site, but I'm just not sure if my needs require double doors.
Or really I guess my question is.... Can i get away with just one door?
this is a rough sketch i made in MS paint
