I confess I don't know what it's worth; but even though Tascam doesn't supply the transformer doesn't mean you can't get a replacement.

I now see that nothing makes this forum more worked up than threads of gear that's dead and not coming back to life anytime soon. Mostly because it's not dead. Just a small part of it ;-)
