This perhaps sounds like an absurd question. Is there any PC software (multi-tracker or plug-in) in the home-studio market that can perform Dolby Surround encoding?
actually Mx51 doesn't encode, but is an authoring program. Minnetonka Audio has a new program (not out yet) call SurCode which should be available soon.
SurCode is an encoder program officially licensed by Dolby Labs.
