does this website exist??

hmmm....i never even tried the website,i am just so used to reading buletin boards in that i find it alot more applicable to read folks personal opinions.

im sure u all had yourselves a good laugh,however it does not discourage me in the least.I appreciate the "old timers of this board" input and knowledge that you give,but i find your attempts to challenge my intelligence pathetic.

Heh, I just thought you were lost. You have to admit it *WAS* a rather funny question. I'm glad you weren't discouraged. Now, keep reading.
 
I'm probably going to be nailed for this post but what the heck.

Before slagging DAB ask yourself these following questions.

1. If this site was that good, would DAB have asked this question?

2. Do you cover all the topics listed in DAB's question in the way a newbie can relate to?

3. Are your egos getting in the way (gibs)?

4. Do you realy want to help people?
 
And before I forget.

Why does a posting, which you perceive as a "dumb" question, no refelction on you DAB, i personally think it was a clever question, attract so much attention (21 posts) and some of the geniune questions never get answered?

Put that in your pipe and smoke it.
 
1) I don't believe there is a direct correlation between the quality of the site and the ability to utilize the information available.

2) By "you", I am assuming you mean the Home Recording web page. If that is the case, then I'd say the information should be covered well enough to get a head start.

3) You seem to imply that Gibs has more than one ego?

4) Should we GIVE you a fish, or teach you to fish?
 
I have a split personality... :D...and DAB you could have worded your post a little differently...you made it seem like you hadn't read anything on this site and wanted everything handed to you in a basket in the form of directions to somewhere else....if you can't see that, then whatever....besides, if I had run you off with my post, you wouldn't be here now, would you, so maybe you got it after all and did some reading....gibs
 
proveras...that was a great site......after reading the section on eq im mixing vocals alot cleaner
