hey i saw how u know how to read the serial # on gibsons.... would u happen to know how to read an ibanez one? I've got this guitar that i think is a 91 but im not sure....

Ibanez Serial Numbers
On my Artist, the serial number is as follows:
A123456
Where A = month of manufacture A=Jan B=Feb etc
12=last two digits of the year of manufacture
3456=the 3456th guitar manufactured to date.
(Guess they were busy in January 1912
)
Now I don't know if the '3456' represents EVERY Ibanez guitar manufactured that year, or if it's just the number of that particular model that year.
You could always e-mail the guy who runs the Ibanez Vintage page, he'll know for sure.
