Does anyone use a "Phillips" CD audio Recorder?

Do any of you own one of these "Phillips" Stand alone CD audio recorders?

I have seen the prices coming down!
$399.00 at Circuit City. Are they good enough to do my mixdowns? CDR or CDRW? I know there is a lot of knowledge out there on this forum! Thanks
